Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Atlanta metro area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect signatures or payments as required by the shipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile apps to log delivery statuses accurately.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with using handheld scanners or delivery applications.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
