Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations across Arlington
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Verify order accuracy upon pickup and delivery, maintaining meticulous inventory records
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and package handling with care
- Utilize delivery management apps to update delivery status and capture electronic signatures
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs/deliveries in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Arlington roadways, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns
- Proficient with smartphone apps for navigation and delivery tracking
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training a plus
