Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Unload packages, ensuring accuracy, verifying delivery details, and obtaining signatures when required.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions, resolve delivery issues, and maintain a positive image of the company.
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the interior of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
