Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations in the Dallas metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure packages are in good condition upon arrival.
- Provide excellent customer service by adhering to a professional dress code and polite communication standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance in the company’s tracking system.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
