Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate records, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
