Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time, in full, and with a professional demeanor.
- Inspect vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues; report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Handle loading and unloading of packages, ensuring cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve any delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and receipts, including digital proof of delivery (POD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL is a plus, but not required for entry-level box truck roles).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and smartphone technology.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
