Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Boston
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Verify package accuracy and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to traffic regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
