Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders within designated Columbus routes
- Efficiently plan optimal delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records through digital scanning and customer signature capture
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and route optimization
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for delivery tracking apps
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
