Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated customer locations in the Portland area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients politely and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, and overall mechanical condition.
- Utilize handheld devices for route planning, GPS navigation, and logging delivery statuses.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately, resolving any discrepancies immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
