Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to residential and commercial destinations within Austin metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile app for real-time tracking
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency
- Secure packages during transit and verify recipient signatures
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent verbal communication abilities for customer interactions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
