Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in Illinois and North Carolina.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled with care and are secured properly.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a accident-free driving record.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and log mileage accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Residency in Illinois or North Carolina preferred.
