Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers over dedicated routes and long-distance OTR lanes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated customer locations.
- Maintain accurate and compliant electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or dedicated driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety protocols.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
