Responsibilities
- Safely operate modern tractors delivering premium freight on dedicated West Coast routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards at all times
- Utilize advanced telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
- Represent Premiere Transport Solutions professionally at customer facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of West Coast geography and major highway systems
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Flexibility for occasional weekend schedules and overnight trips
- Commitment to safety excellence and customer service principles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for occasional freight handling
