Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD), mileage records, and delivery paperwork.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or traffic issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to a strict schedule.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
