Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes throughout California and neighboring states
- Safely transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections, documentation, and post-trip reporting
- Maintain communication with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Manage delivery schedules to maintain on-time performance metrics
- Represent Premium Logistics with professional conduct and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
