Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight to designated Washington DC metro locations
- Maintain detailed logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Inspect, clean, and perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned vehicle
- Build strong relationships with DC-area clients through professional communication
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time updates and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metro traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
