Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Los Angeles and major Southwest hubs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and verify shipment documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong familiarity with Southwest regional routes and terrain
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for electronic logging and communication
