Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dedicated freight between San Jose and regional hubs
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries and route optimization
- Uphold strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Build strong relationships with warehouse staff and clients
- Manage cargo securement according to industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with clean MVR
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Strong communication skills and route navigation expertise
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
