Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated long-haul routes from Miami to Southeastern US
- Deliver freight to customers on schedule with zero-touch or minimal-touch protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team via remote communication tools for real-time updates
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Manage delivery documentation and customer communications professionally
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in ELD systems and remote communication apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (max 2 nights/week)
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight preferred
