Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes in the Milwaukee metro area
- Safely transport freight to and from distribution centers while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal routing
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Represent Swift Transportation with professional conduct at all customer locations
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to pass a background check and security clearance
