Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Laredo and major Texas hubs
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Ensure strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Manage cargo loading/un supervision at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of Texas highway regulations and border crossing procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Spanish language proficiency preferred for border crossings
