Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within 500-mile radius of Buffalo
- Safely transport freight between distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and retail locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve transit issues
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Northeast corridor routes and weather conditions
- Strong understanding of freight handling and securement protocols
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
