Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Uphold strict safety standards and adherence to delivery schedules
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
- Must be 23+ years old with minimum 1 year verifiable employment history
