Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Manage route optimization and timely delivery of freight
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Complete accurate documentation (BOLs, delivery confirmations)
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain truck cleanliness and preventive maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability/cargo)
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
