Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for dedicated regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging records
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Collaborate with dock teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading
- Uphold Elite Transport's customer service excellence standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/holiday shifts
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and PA highway systems
