Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated Southern California routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Uphold company safety standards and FMCSA regulations
- Build strong relationships with key customers along dedicated lanes
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California traffic regulations and mountain driving
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (max 3 nights/month)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for cargo securement
