Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with consistent home time
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Build strong relationships with logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for accurate record-keeping
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Represent Prime Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for securement procedures
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips as needed
