Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailers safely on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and complete electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight through proper loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all deliveries
- Represent our company with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and electronic logging
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and fleet management systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
