Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Boston and regional distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and electronic logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company brand professionally
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Willingness to undergo background check and company-specific training
