Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional safety records
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and high-value cargo
- Document all transportation activities and submit timely paperwork
- Represent Premier Logistics Solutions professionally at client facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and defensive driving practices
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel 70% of the time with predictable home time
- Experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
