Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Southern California and Phoenix/Tucson
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery paperwork, and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate proactively with clients and dispatch regarding delivery status
- Uphold company standards for customer service and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major preventable accidents in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and Qualcomm systems
- Strong understanding of FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including occasional overnight trips
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight preferred
