Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to Oakland addresses within designated time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect vehicle before/after shifts to ensure cleanliness and operational safety
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch via our mobile app
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at warehouse locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Resolve delivery issues proactively with customer service support
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and neighborhoods
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Basic math skills for cash handling when applicable
- Pass background check and drug screening
