Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to residential and commercial customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accuracy before loading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully fueled delivery vehicle.
- Utilize handheld devices/apps to track orders and communicate with dispatch.
- Collect payments, signatures, or proof of delivery as required by the route.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
- Smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and app communication.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
