Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive documents and packages throughout Washington DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
