Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages across Nashville and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Load/unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Minimum 1 year professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metropolitan area
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
