Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and time-sensitive deliveries across San Jose and Silicon Valley
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic tech literacy for digital delivery tracking
- Flexible availability for early morning starts
