Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or security protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Experience with package delivery or logistics operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and route planning
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of LA traffic patterns and neighborhoods
