Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up time-sensitive shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Handle special handling requirements for fragile or temperature-sensitive items
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metropolitan area
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Reliable personal vehicle (if using personal vehicle, must meet insurance requirements)
- Pass background check and drug screening
