Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and goods to designated locations throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication and professional demeanor
- Handle special delivery requests and resolve delivery-related issues proactively
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles (vans, trucks) safely in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
