Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages, medical specimens, and legal documents
- Maintain GPS tracking and delivery logs with 100% accuracy
- Safely load/unload packages up to 60 lbs using proper lifting techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using real-time traffic data
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and expressways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 60 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to/from shift start points
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
