Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and materials to designated Austin locations using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize daily delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize time efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures/confirmations
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and mechanical soundness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and communicate delays
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Austin streets and surrounding areas
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability and data plan
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections preferred
