Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents safely across Oakland and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and route optimization
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Inspect and maintain assigned delivery vehicle for safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle fragile or high-value items with specialized care protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proof of auto insurance and reliable vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery/courier experience preferred
