Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive deliveries across Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to meet time-sensitive deadlines while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional conduct
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and secure cargo properly
- Report mechanical issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery schedules
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and reporting
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
