Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, medical specimens, and documents using company vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery routes and timelines using GPS tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and drop-offs
- Document all deliveries and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Handle fragile, hazardous, or temperature-sensitive shipments with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
