Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials to designated locations within Louisville metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation using digital tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and issue resolution
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Louisville street network and surrounding areas
- Proficient with mobile technology (GPS apps, delivery tracking software)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and drug screening
