Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Portland metro area using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Portland street systems and navigation apps
