Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area streets and highways
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
