Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading operations while adhering to safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license a plus
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan area and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Clear background check and drug screening required
