Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to deliver freight to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (ELD, BOL, etc.) in strict adherence to FMCSA rules.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a valid Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle adjustments.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
