Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records at all times.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
